BACHELOR IN NUTRITIONAL SCIENCE
About this degree program
The Bachelor in Nutritional Science is a full-time undergraduate degree program offered by the Study Program Division of Nutrition. In response to the scientific and health-care challenges of the 21st century, this nationwide unique study program draws upon the expertise of different disciplines in the field of life and food sciences. It covers both basic principles and up-to-date findings in nutrition science and related fields such as human medicine, food science, bioscience, and public health.
The curriculum of our Bachelor's program combines theoretical training with hands-on research experience. Students will develop skills to reflect critically on the social and economic dimensions of human nutrition and the food chain. Our graduates enjoy high employment rates and find positions in academic institutions and science-based industries.

This program is particularly appropriate for students seeking a career in research, nutritional medicine and industrial production. Our graduates are found working in a wide range of settings such as clinical research, product development and health education. They are in demand as food safety specialists and consultants to public health agencies. Many successful graduates continue their studies and take our graduate degree program, the Master in Nutrition and Biomedicine.
